Ann Damian‑Effiom is currently a doctoral candidate in Applied Statistics at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State. She holds a Master's degree in Data Science, a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Statistics, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics and Statistics.

She is a data science and statistics professional with expertise in Applied Statistics, Data Science, and Data Protection. Ann is a Certified Data Protection Officer and maintains active professional affiliations as an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

She is also a member of ISACA and a Senior Professional Member and Accredited Trainer with the Institute of Information Management (IIM).

Busayo Ogunyemi ACA, CDPO

Busayo Soetan Ogunyemi is a certified accounting and data protection professional with over five years of cross-functional experience spanning audit, financial accounting, and data protection compliance. She currently serves as a Data Protection Consultant at Valuesoft Intelligent Automation, a licensed Data Protection Compliance Organization (DPCO).

She conducts data protection audits, facilitates monthly training programs, and leads Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) engagements for client organizations. Busayo supports clients in registering with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), developing privacy policies, and implementing robust data governance frameworks.

She is an Associate of ICAN, a Certified Data Protection Officer (IIM), holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, and is pursuing an MBA at Ajayi Crowther University.

Bolaji Bamidele Tawose ACA, CDPO

Bolaji Bamidele Tawose is a results-driven accounting and data governance professional with experience across taxation, audit, data analytics, and data protection. He currently serves as Data Protection Lead at the Ekiti State Internal Revenue Service (EKIRS).

He drives NDPA compliance, conducts DPIAs, oversees incident response, and leads initiatives that improve taxpayer compliance and revenue recovery.

Bolaji is an Associate of ICAN and CITN, and a Certified Data Protection Officer committed to advancing data privacy culture and accountability.

Joseph Ekong, CDPO

Joseph Ekong is the Head of Data Mining and Integration at the Cross River State Internal Revenue Service, where he leads data-driven initiatives that enhance compliance, revenue optimization, and inter-agency data integration.

He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science, an MBA, and is certified in Cloud Computing. Joseph is passionate about leveraging data and digital innovation to strengthen public sector performance and drive sustainable revenue growth.

Abiola Adefiranye is a resourceful and adaptable Web Administrator with a strong background in building and maintaining responsive digital platforms. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology and is certified in IT, cybersecurity, and data protection.

Bassey Emmanuel Ojungha, CDPO

Bassey Emmanuel Ojungha is an experienced ICT and data management professional from Cross River State with a strong background in banking operations, systems administration, and public-sector digital processes. His work focuses on supporting organizational goals and improving technology-driven revenue systems.

He holds a degree in Business Administration, an N.C.E in Technical Education, and multiple ICT certifications, and is currently pursuing an MBA at the National Open University of Nigeria.

His career includes key roles at Allstates Trust Bank, Ruleb Systems, and Akin Microfinance. Since 2012, he has led ICT & Operations at the Cross River State Internal Revenue Service, overseeing data mining, taxpayer identification, ICT policy, and digital revenue initiatives.

A certified Data Protection Officer and Fellow of several professional bodies, he is passionate about data governance, ICT training, reading, music, and teaching.

Abdulquadri Usman Folami is a seasoned software engineer and technology leader with over nine years of experience delivering scalable ERP and SaaS solutions. He currently heads the IT Operations Unit at the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service.

He combines deep technical expertise with strong knowledge of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance. As a CTO and project lead, he has built and deployed multi-tenant platforms and enterprise systems.

Kenneth Onesi, CDPO

Onesi Kenneth Saiki is a legal and regulatory compliance professional with a strong focus on data protection and privacy. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Benin, in 2003 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2005, building a solid foundation in corporate and regulatory law.

Onesi currently serves as Compliance/Nigeria Content Manager and Data Protection Officer at Yinson in Port Harcourt. In this role, he oversees regulatory compliance, data protection frameworks, and the implementation of privacy controls across the organization, ensuring alignment with applicable data protection laws and industry best practices.

Before joining Yinson in 2019, he held regulatory compliance roles at Desicon Engineering Nigeria Limited and Saipem Contracting Nigeria Limited, where he gained extensive experience working with complex regulatory environments in the energy and engineering sectors. Since becoming a Data Protection Officer in 2019, he has been actively involved in shaping and managing data protection programs, a journey he describes as both challenging and rewarding.
